For Those Who Know - or Know It When They Feel It
I build guitars for players who feel like something’s always been missing, but can’t quite put their finger on it. Every guitar I make is designed to feel like coming home - for players who are done searching.
What Drives Me and Why it Matters
I’ve never owned a Tele that truly felt right. Some came close, but there was always something missing - the tone, the resonance, the feel.
After years of searching for the perfect one, I decided to build it myself. What began as curiosity turned into an obsession - not to replicate the past, but to fulfill what was lacking.
Now, every guitar I make carries that pursuit of perfection. I believe guitars should inspire the moment you pick them up - feel like home, like an extension of yourself. That’s why I pour everything I have into each instrument, building them one at a time - for players who demand more.

"I’ve owned at least a dozen pre-CBS Fender Telecasters and Strats. At least twice as many Custom Shop, boutique, and luthier builds. The guitar that Lewis built for me is a standout. It’s the finest F-style guitar that I’ve owned. Lewis used a selection of handpicked roasted tone woods as the starting point. When combined with his respect for vintage instruments but desire for modern precision, it resulted in a guitar that truly sounds as good as the best vintage ones. But unlike those crotchety old instruments, it plays as well as guitars built by the best small batch ultra-exclusive luthiers." - Matt W

"I wanted a T-style guitar that never existed – a two tone sunburst (ie no red – while it’s my favourite colour, I prefer it on cars rather than guitars), with double binding. Lewis more than obliged, providing a spectacular piece of roasted swamp ash for the body and a master grade roasted flame maple neck that is so spectacular it almost defies description. Safe to say it looks like everything I ever wanted in a T-style guitar, and then some. The guitar is light (under 7 lbs), resonant and spectacularly finished, with a fabulous oil finish on the back of the neck that is just terrific and a light relic on the body. It holds its tuning terrifically and is alive both unplugged and plugged in. Well balanced with a terrific neck carve, it is a joy to play.I highly recommend Lewis Parker – top notch quality, responsive, friendly and highly talented. What’s not to like?!" - Michael C.

"I keep forgetting to tune it because it is so stable. I think the best thing you can say about an instrument is when you can pick it up, you kind of forget it's there, leaving more room for your brain to focus on the music. That's how I feel about this guitar, I'm not fighting any physical difficulties, just playing what's in my head. It helps that it looks great too." - Roger F.

"My tele is obviously a looker! The wide burst body spray, and light relic is outstanding. The fretboard is a deep rich dark colour. The wood grain, and oil finish on the back of the neck is outstanding. You won't find that on the wall at your big box music shop! The frets are dressed perfectly, and the side dot markers are easy to spot. The neck profile is a treat to play. For me, it sits "just right" in my palm. Total weight is very comfortable to play for hours, and the balance is perfect. The pickups are custom wound by McNelly for ECGC. They are low output, and are a remarkably quiet single coil. I'm that guy that hates single coil buzz (or any extra noise), so that's saying a lot. Last weekend, I got to play it out at a jam through a Deluxe Reverb. It blended nicely, and cut through when it needed it to. A couple of friends played it too. Both had to stop, turn to me, and say 'wow, this is really nice!'. I highly recommend East City Guitar Co!" - Blair F.
